A beautiful male lion looks out across the Okonjima Nature Reserve, home to the renowned AfriCat Foundation.
A group of WT adventurers had the exclusive opportunity to visit these lions (as well as their neighbors the leopards, cheetahs, and wild dogs) in their stunning habitat. Our partners in Namibia sent this report from the field on how the group enjoyed their Desert Lion Safari:
They were the first guests welcomed into to the new lion-hide at Okonjima.
They had an amazing lion sighting, admiring these magnificent Kings of Africa.
Of course with a glass of champagne.
Guests had time to learn more about conservation initiatives involving Africa’s large cats, as well as a question & answer chat in the bush with Donna from the AfriCat Foundation.
And finally, a special sundowner with a view.
