On our journey, From Bratislava to Prague, we hike to hilltop castles and ancient abbeys, take a private tour of a 17th century theater, enter the medieval town of Telc through historic gates, and cross stone bridges in architecturally stunning villages. We also stay in boutique hotels, follow forested trails to family vineyards, and are welcomed at a stunning art gallery. Pilgrim’s Way | View Itinerary

Searching for a deeper understanding of the places you travel? Trace the footsteps of pilgrims on thousand-year-old trails with Trip Leaders who bring you the history, heritage, and traditions of pilgrims past and present. We have designed our Pilgrim’s Way along the legendary El Camino de Santiago in Spain to take in the best of this meaningful journey, avoiding the urban stretches, with a wonderful grand finale to “Finisterre”, the ‘end of the earth’, and a traditional barefoot walk on the beach.

Italy’s Pilgrim Trail | View Itinerary

Our 10-day Italy’s Pilgrim Trail follows the Via Francigena, the ancient pilgrim route that leads to Rome. From Siena, with its scalloped-shaped piazza, discover the Tuscan hilltop village of San Quirico d’Orcia, and the walled town of Viterbo, once home of the popes. You’ll explore Sutri’s Roman amphitheater carved out of tufa rock, and hike from our castle-hotel right into the “Eternal City” of Rome. Along the way we stop to relax in thermal springs and sample regional delights like gnocchi alla romana and rich Chianti. A pilgrim’s passport from this historic route is your own personal talisman of this insightful journey.
