Out of thousands of Trip Leaders nominated by travelers across the globe, our Namibia Trip Leader, Orlando Haraseb, won silver at this year’s Wanderlust Travel World Guide Awards, recognizing leaders who have gone above and beyond to offer travelers an exceptional adventure.
The judges included Bill Bryson (legendary travel writer), Mark Carwardine (author, photographer, and wildlife expert), and Lyn Hughes (Editor-in-Chief of Wanderlust) among others, and competition was very close.
We are tremendously proud (and not at all surprised) that Orlando, former captain of Namibia’s national football team, avid birder, and all round nice guy, has received this esteemed commendation from industry professionals and adventurers. This is a nod toward the caliber of all of our guides, their passion, knowledge, and experience.
Orlando is eternally grateful for the honor and, ever the modest man that he is, he can’t stop thanking everyone who supported him and repeating how much he appreciates everything on his journey as a Trip Leader.
