Lemurs exist in the wild ONLY in Madagascar. This diademed sifaka is possibly the most beautiful lemur. It’s heartbreaking that these creatures are so critically endangered, but traveling here does aid in efforts to protect them—our tourist dollars at work! // We had many chances to meet and interact with the Malagasy people—who are generally extremely friendly, especially the kids.
