North of the Dominican Republic and southeast of Turks and Caicos is the Silver Bank. Here the sea floor of the Atlantic lifts from its great depths to a shallow table and each winter northern Atlantic humpback whales migrate south and gather at this saltwater sanctuary to breed and calve. For the last few years, WT Trip Leader and marine biologist Ethan Daniels has led a lucky group of WT Adventurers on a breathtaking exploration just below the water’s surface at the Silver Bank into the realm of the humpbacks.
